How can i find out if my CPU is under warranty?

Run CPUz get the serial # and check with Intel.

My mistake CPUz will not tell you the serial # , you would prob. have to remove the CPU and get a magnifing glass to see the serail # .

One way to find out is to look at your receipt (normally three years). But you have to determine whether the retailer or Intel is the one that will provide the warranty. Here's the http://www.intel.com/support/processors/sb/CS-025525.htm?wapkw=(warranties) link by Intel on how to process the warranty claim and how to find information needed (processor serial number, etc.).

By providing the serial number of the processor to Intel, we can validate the warranty of the processor, howerver you need to call the customer support center of your location at:
