what does the bus speed mean, 9300 is 8GT/s DMI and 8565 is 4GT/s OPI? and whilst the 8565 has a higher frequency the 9300 has higher TDP, which has more power then? I'm not sure how to judge overall performance?

Hi @da0001 ,
- Higher TDP means more power, however it means also more power consumption (this parameter is very important in laptop computer).
- You may see some answer to your question here: https://laptopmedia.com/comparisons/intel-core-i5-9300h-vs-intel-core-i7-8565u-honorable-performance-from-a-15w-cpu/
- As you can see i7-8565U performs behind i5-9300H by some 13-14%, but takes only 15W of power consumption, which is very important in laptops.
- So if you performance is important for you the i5-9300H performs little better.
