Hi Intel Support Team,
I am using one of the Xeon family processor: D-1539, Now I need information about the ROM (Read Only Memory) typically it is bootstrap code that is stored in some non-volatile memory, Would you please let me know which memory it is where the bootstrap/boot code stored and how much is the size of the memory which stores bootstrap/boot code?

In a typical computer system, ROM is located on the motherboard. It contains the basic instructions for what needs to happen when a computer is powered on. This is typically referred to as the firmware of a computer.
What is ROM used for?
Read Only Memory (ROM) is a type of firmware that is used to start up programs and software on device or computer. It is typically located on the BIOS chip within the motherboard of a personal computer.
What is ROM and its different types?
ROM stands for Read Only Memory, and this is non-volatile memory. As time as gone on, advancements have been made. Generally speaking, this memory is read only and cannot be written over. However, it is now possible to electronically erase bits of ROM and have it written over by a specialist who does this type of work. This is how software and firmware updates are made for devices, which is when end users frequently need to download updates and then shut down their devices and reboot them, so that these updates can be made.
What are the four types of ROM?
The types of ROM are MROM (Masked Read Only Memory), PROM (Programmable Read Only Memory), EPROM (Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory) / EEPROM (Electrically Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory), and EAROM (Electrically Alterable Read Only Memory). The changes in these types of memory have allowed them to become erasable and written over in certain circumstances. This allows for upgrades to be made to device operating systems when a update is released.
