I have a question: How to monitor energy consumption of the processor?
Are there softwares to this?
I have read a white paper of http://www.intel.com/content/dam/doc/white-paper/resources-xeon-measuring-processor-power-paper.pdf Intel but it advices use to power meter to monitor servers (I want to monitor processors).
My machine is a Linux (Fedora) computer with Intel i5 processor.
We have an application called Intel® Desktop Utilities that monitors the performance in the system and some other devices. You can download the application at the following link:
Firstly I wanna grateful your advice.
My computer uses Linux OS and this tool supports only Windows.
Is there Desktop Utilies to Linux?
Or, is there other tool or library to programming??
I am afraid to say that the Intel® Desktop Utilities is supported on Windows OS only. You can check this information at the following link:

My best recommendation is to access to the Linux Communities so that any developer can help you with the code for a tool as the IDU.
