I have an asus vivobook with an Intel i7 8565U but the driver for the CPU is updated with a driver of 2009. I searched for a new driver on the site, but even if in the description it says it was compatible, once dowloaded the computer says that it was not

Where to find a new driver compatible?

  1. Uninstall the currently installed old driver. You may uninstall it form Apps and Feature page in Window settings or from Device Manager.
  2. Reboot your laptop. Now you should see Microsoft Basic Graphics Driver in Device Manager.
  3. Now, you will be able to install the new driver.
  4. I understand that your laptop is equipped with nVidia graphics. Take care to install both graphics driver (Intel and nVidia), downloaded from Asus site.
  5. Take care to have the Bios updated too.
