Is it possible to play games (specifically GTA V) in 4K at 60Hz with the integrated Intel® HD Graphics 4600 without any problems or difficulties?

Hello Dougie_Doge, thanks for joining the Intel Community.
According to the reference guide, the HD 4600 supports 4k @ 60hz when using the Display Port (DP) output. https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/quick-reference-guide-to-intel-processor-graphics https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/quick-reference-guide-to-intel-processor-graphics
Some systems requirements are the following:
- A computer system with a Graphics Controller which has a DP port supporting 4K@60Hz.
- A monitor that supports 4K such as Dell UP2414Q, ASUS PQ321Q which supports 4K@60Hz via DP1.2/MST mode *.
*DP 1.2 - DisplayPort can support 4K@60Hz using Multi-Stream Transport (MST). The graphics controller provides signals for multiple displays but these are multiplexed on a single cable. 4K Monitors (in 4K@60 Hz Tiled Monitor) take input using this format.
Please check the pictures below
Enable DP 1.2/MST mode on the monitor
1. Connect PC and 4K Display via DP.
2. Install Windows 8.1 with the latest drivers downloaded from Download Center.
3. Open Intel HD Graphics Control Panel and Click "Display".
Then, 4K@60Hz will be enabled on the system.
Regards,

Is there going to be any lag, or will it be all smooth? I mean it's a pretty requiring game, I'm wondering if I just should get a graphics card or try to use the on-board graphics.
Thanks!
EDIT: Will it work on the Samsung U28D590D, I guess it should since it is a 4K 60Hz screen.

The Samsung U28D590D should work without problems since it supports 4k according to this URL http://www.samsung.com/us/computer/monitors/LU28D590DS/ZA Samsung UHD 28" Monitor (U28D590D) | Samsung Monitor , however I haven't tested it.

The following link contains the list of playable games with the Intel HD Graphics 4600. GTA has not been officially tested; therefore we do not have information if the game is going to work at 4k @60hz. http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/intelhdgraphics4600/sb/CS-034993.htm 4th Generation Intel® Core&# 153; Processors with Intel® HD Graphics 4600 — Playable Games List for Intel® HD Graphics 4600

You will likely not be able to play Grand Theft Auto V with Intel HD4600. Intel HD4600 struggles to run GTA 4 at 800x600

Hi Sylvia,
I've read in a another post that low voltage U versions of cpu on nuc are limited to 4k@30Hz
I'm planning to buy a i5 and I am hesitating between the i5 4570S and the standard i5 4570 version
Is there a limitation on the 4570s cpu regarding the graphic output.
My goal is to have dual screen display:
- 28' display (probably PB287Q) 4k@60 with the 1.2 display port
- 24' display full hd 60hz on hdmi
Will this will work for 4570 and 4570s cpu ?
My motherboard will be asus B85m E C2
Thanks,
Franck

Franck, as you mentioned on your post low voltage U versions of http://ark.intel.com/products/codename/42174/Haswell Haswell processors on NUCs are limited to 4k@30Hz.
Based on the motherboard's specifications, the maximum resolution supported by it will be 4096 x 2160 @ 24 Hz using the HDMI or the Display Port. Please check the following URL http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/B85ME/specifications/ http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/B85ME/specifications/
The Intel® Core™ i5-4570 Processor is part of the Haswell family and it comes with Intel® HD Graphics 4600. According to the reference guide, it should support 3840 x 2160 @ 60 Hz using DP.

Does it support 3840x2160@60hz ?
Thanks,
Regarding the motherboard I hope the user manual is more up to date than Asus web site
As according to the documentation of the motherboard support 3840x2160@60hz
