Intel Haswell Core i7 4650U 1.7GHz, it is recommended to run this CPU continuously on Turbo speed up to 3.0 GHz ? i have a Project where I would like to load this CPU with heavy applications and run it continuously for Large Data Acquisition. The required clock speed of CPU is 3 GHz, but I am planning to use this Haswell CPU as its Turbo boost speed can reach up to 3.3 GHz.

Is it a recommended practice to do so? Will I get overheating and performance issues ?
