Why does this driver affect sound(realtek)? Interesting that different versions of this driver can make sound be different somehow. Why is this driver affects sound, it has nothing to do with the sound isn't it?

1. Can you provide the brand and model of your board or system?
2. Are you using a desktop or a laptop?
3. Can you also describe the effect on the sound? Did it improved or no?
4. How did you update the Management Engine and where did you download the driver?

2. desktop

3. I found that some ME drivers make sound just bad, some make it sound "restricted" or dull

4. I tried many versions. Currently using the one which came with windows installing v2130.1.15.0 i believe .

I just want to know why does it have impact on the sound?

Thank you for the quick reply.

I reviewed the specification of your motherboard and the Audio controller is from Realtek.

I believe the best team who can further assist you to diagnose this problem is the manufacturer of the board which is Asus.

The chipset and other controllers may have been altered or modified and all of them are being controlled by their BIOS.
