I wanted to share my recent experience with the RMA process. Everything went smoothly until I reached the step where I needed to be charged for the cross-shipping fees.
It's been extremely frustrating to wait about half a month, but no one has called me to collect my payment information. During this time, I sent several emails to inquire and confirm when I could expect the call. However, since September 23rd, the customer support technician has not replied to any of my emails.
The lack of communication and the prolonged delay have been very disappointing. I hope Intel can address these issues.

Same boat here. Trying to get a hold of prepaid bills from their team and even when they reply they it's presented as useless information that answers none of my queries. They've even stopped bothering to format their emails neither do they give any eta for a response. Something's messed up in there.

Update So today Intel did the final call and took the information for my card to do cross shipping. Just to let those in the same boat know there is progress.

So received the second i9 processor 14900K at a cost out of my pocket for cross shipping Intel needed a payment for the value of the CPU before cross shipping plus a non refundable I believe it was 50 dollars US for the shipping. I did receive finally a replacement CPU but when the refund for the payment was made it was reduced by about 100 dollars because of the US and Canadian exchange plus I lost the 50 dollars US (this I don't understand why I should not get back what I sent for a deposit). With that all said and done losing money on the replacement chip which I already paid for in the first place, and now having the replacement CPU starting to do the same reboot, lock up and resets the bios which is all in default setting I don't dare try to over clock anything I would just like to get it to run stable in default mode. Opened another Support request 06453702 five days ago still heard nothing. This was a complete new build which I never really got to use proper because of this issue. Could Tech please reply to my Support request.
