Hello,
Currently having an issue where when I attempt to open up Intel XTU, I get a message stating the following:
"Permission Denied: XTU signature validation failed. One or more files does not have a valid signature!"
Things I have done so far:
1. Stopped the services.
2. Compeletly uninstalled XTU, deleted all files related to XTU and wiped the registry for XTU, then rebooted. (Multiple times...)
3. Checked previous posts with the same issue which stated to do the above ^.
4. Verified certificates are up to date.
Not really sure where to go from here. The program worked fine before, however, I recently RMA'd my 14900k and received a new one that is currently in my computer. After replacing the previous 14900k, the program no longer works. All of my settings are identical to the previous CPU in BIOS as I had saved a profile.

Hello Roots,
I’m truly sorry to hear that you’re encountering an error message when trying to open Intel® XTU. I understand you’ve already tried several steps and recently replaced your processor.
To help resolve the issue, I’ve put together the following recommendations:
- Reboot your system and try rerunning the Intel® XTU installer.
- Uninstall Intel® XTU by following the steps outlined in the How to Uninstall the Intel® Extreme Tuning Utility (Intel® XTU) article.
- Download and install the latest version of Intel® XTU.
- Ensure that you have the latest BIOS version installed. You may want to contact your board manufacturer to confirm this.
- Admin permissions required: Manually delete the c:\Program Files\Intel\Intel(R) Extreme Tuning Utility directory. Be cautious not to delete any other program folders.
- If the issue persists, consider updating Windows or performing a fresh Windows installation.
Please let me know if any of these steps work for you. I look forward to hearing from you soon!
Best regards,
Ariel P.

Followed all of your suggestions, including fresh windows installation:
- BIOS is updated.
- Latest version of XTU is downloaded.
- Used the uninstall article you linked.
After doing so I still get the same error when trying to open XTU.
