Hi guys.

My setup:
I9 14900K
Z790 AORUS ELITE AX DDR4
32 GB 3200 MHz

My issue:
I’m a developer and I have a python script that use all cores at the max possible 100%, 24/24h
I’ve set the POWER LIMIT TO 253 and POWER LIMIT TIME TO 448.

Temps are good, around 50 grades

But performance are rly bad.
1k single core - 10k multi core.

When launch my program with my power limit settings all works fine, but performance are really poor.
If I try to set stock settings or enable turbo boost, it goes on kernel panic or sigfault.

I’m using Ubuntu.

Any advice?

Thx

Have you made sure to update your BIOS version? It could be outdated. That was a major issue for me with my z790
