Hello TheRandomNpc,
Intel® DTT is a system software, drivers are configured by the system manufacturer (also known as OEM) to dynamically optimize the system for performance, battery life, and thermals.
Computer manufacturers can customize how Intel® DTT works in their driver software. When experiencing issues with Intel® DTT, we recommend that you first check with your computer manufacturer and use the driver software provided by them:

What do you mean by computer manufacturer software driver ? My Windows 11 is already updated to the latest version, and I'm using an latest NVIDIA driver GeForce RTX 2050. All my drivers are up to date, and I have DTT installed under Software Components in the Device Manager. Is that what you meant? If so, how can I update the DTT correctly?

Hello TheRandomNpc,
You initially mentioned that you were getting an FPS drop after 2 minutes of gameplay (from 60 to 25 FPS), and by "disabling" the Intel dynamic tuning technology device extension component in device manager under software component fixes this issue. You had a hanging question wanting to know if your laptop will have any issues in the future.
The information I shared was to explain that the Intel® DTT is a system software, are drivers are configured by the system manufacturer (also known as OEM). This is Acer, your system manufacturer.
Computer manufacturers (OEMs) can customize how Intel® DTT works in their driver software. Since by disabling this Intel DTT, your game FPS works fine, it is best to check with your computer manufacturer if this would cause any issues in the future and use the driver software provided by them.
I hope the information above clarifies your concern.
Best regards,
JeanetteC.
