Is the switch on the fan in the Intel RTS2011LC Liquid-Cooling Kit for switching the LED ON or OFF, or for selecting a fan speed range?
The installation instructions for both the RTS2011LC and the TS13X liquid coolers say it's an on/off switch for the LED, but I've found information online that says it's a fan speed range selector switch. Quote from one vendor says "Selectable fan speed setting provides Quiet and Performance modes". The one I just received has a switch clearly marked "Q" & "P".
Which is it? Did Intel send out the same product with different fan switch functions? If I can't switch off that stupid LED, I may just send it back before I even install it!
