I have Lenovo X360 Yoga 20NQS I also failed same firmware update I talked with OEM they told me it's a bug inside the firmware update so that it always failed to install they also told me wait for few weeks so after that a new firmware will release. #firmware #failed #lenovo #intel #microsoft I Hope intel or Lenovo will take this seriously and release a new firmware as soon as possible.
I tried Lenovo Vantage, Direct Download firmware file from OEM Site, use Intel Driver & support Assistance but all methods are not working. after rebooting system start normally . ..

I will raise your concern with our engineer and seek recommendations to address the issue. I understand that only the system manufacturer can update the BIOS or fix any firmware issues on their end.

We would like to inform you that the Intel® Management Engine is integrated into the motherboard, and all drivers are provided by the motherboard or system manufacturer. To obtain the latest version, please refer to the download center of your motherboard or system manufacturer.
Additionally, Intel is unable to provide a generic update due to the customizations performed by system and motherboard manufacturers on the management engine firmware.

Intel Driver & support Assistance does not deduct Intel ME firmware. Share the processor model and sku details.
Most of the laptops manufacturered lock the firmware upgarding from updating firmware using third party tools. So you need to wait for update firmware from lenovo.
I have asus laptop with intel i5 7200u, updated using third party tool. My laptop is not locked for firmware.

Thakyou to all of you for take my matter seriosly and Sorry for the delay, but none of the solutions have resolved my issue. I have tried everything without success. I hope Intel will either remove this update or release a new one that is compatible with the laptop, so other users who are unaware of this platform can also install the update.
Updates are crucial for device security and performance. If an update is not successfully installed, it can pose a risk to users. I trust that Intel will take this matter seriously.
