Hi, i have an HP laptop with intel core i7 3630QM. The problem i am having is that my turbo boost doesnt work. I tried activating it in the bios but it doesn't give me the option.
I'm using the intel extreme tuning utility along with cpu-z to stress the processors and monitor them but i am not getting the multiplier above 12.
The turbo boost monitoring 2.6 program shows "energy saving".
system power options are set to maximum performance.
Please help me. Thanks in advance.

Hello, Rantech:
I am sorry to hear that, but bear in mind that this feature will be reached when need it, there is no option to turn it on or off. The maximum turbo frequency indicates the highest possible frequency achievable when conditions allow the processor to enter turbo mode. Intel® Turbo Boost Technology frequency varies depending on workload, hardware, software, and overall system configuration.
Regards,
Amy.
