System:
Lenovo IdeaCentre k430
Windows 8 Enterprise (x64)
Intel Core i5-2320 CPU
I am having problems installing Intel HAXM (for Android emulation). I get this error immediately:
"This computer does not support Intel Virtualization Technology (VT-x) ..."
Running the processor identification utility, I get:
Intel Virtualization Technology: No
Intel VT-x with Extended Page Tables: No
Both of these should be supported on my system:

I've enabled virtualization in the BIOS, installed/reinstalled new drivers, but nothing seems to work. Anyone know if this is just a "Windows 8 not supported" issue or if there's something I can do?
Thanks,
Nick

This processor supports Intel® Virtualization Technology (VT-x) but not (VT-d), please check with the software developer if it requires both VT-x and VT-d.
Also as you mention this could be just a Microsoft* Windows* 8 issue, I would suggest checking with Microsoft* and also check with the motherboard manufacturer, since it is possible that the motherboard might not support the Intel® Virtualization Technology feature as well.
