Hello. Recently, my computer with an i7 4790k and an Asus Sabertooth z97 motherboard shut off when my PSU died (obviously).
My powersupply was a very-high quality AX860 from corsair. I was able to boot the system on and load into windows and stress test the CPU with a different PSU I had for 15 minutes without any problems, however, I am VERY paranoid. Do you think that my 4790k CPU is damaged?

It is possible but unlikely since a peak of electricity usually affects the motherboard's voltage regulator first. Still, please run the http://www.intel.com/support/processors/sb/CS-031726.htm Intel® Processor Diagnostic Tool

If it passed the Intel Processor Diagnostic Tool's test, should I be fine and dandy?

Right, it should be working properly.
