Hello everyone,
I need to get the information of CPU's lifespan.
Where can I get that information?
I should compare my CPU and other CPUs.
I understand that the temperature and voltage affect CPU's lifespan. I like to know the CPUs lifespan under heavy load(90~100%).
I found this kind of question exists in this forum but it seems too old, so I am writing a new post.
(*)CPU lifetime when under constant heavy load and high temperature - Intel Communities
CPU list I like to know lifespan under heavy load:
E5-1620 0 / E5-1620 v2
E5-1630 v3
W-2123
W-2245
i7-12700
i9-12900
Thank you!

Hello, Deivid.
Sorry to reply late.
1. I cannot tell you the hole story, but I need the information for the replacement of my company's PCs.(Sorry for that...)
It will be used as a basis for changing to the corresponding CPU.
2. I am working in IT asset management, to change my company's PCs, I am collecting bases.
3. I am not developing any software or hardware.
Thank you.

Hello bmillionj00,
Thanks for your patience. I would like to inform you that for the non-desktop processors you will need to open a new thread since our team can only provide information for the desktop processors.
The lifespan of a processor is affected by different factors (as you mentioned) like usage, heat, software updates, etc. Processors should last at least 7- 10 years or longer, unfortunately, we do not have an exact answer to this question.
The information that we have closest to your question would be the guide to finding FIT data that could be used to compute MTBF. However, this information is confidential and for this, you will need an NDA.
Please let me know if you want to proceed with the process for the NDA or if it is not needed for you.
Regards,
Deivid A.

Hello Deivid,
Thank you for your kind reply, but I don't need only desktop processors' MTBF.
I hope we will talk about your other great processors again.

Hello bmillionj00,
Thanks for your response. In this case, for the non-desktop processor, you have to create a different thread in order to help you with the information (you can use this one as a reference).
Before I continue further, let me know if you would like to proceed with the NDA processor for the desktop computers.
I will be waiting for your response
Best regards,
Deivid A.
