so the question is:
if i purchase an i7 3770k, will i be able to increase the cpu multiplier with my motherboard( ga-h77-d3h)?
if so, to what value?
according to this answered question, i believe the answer is yes

It is very important to let you know that we don't recommend over clocking any of the internal components such as memory, video or processor. This practice could decrease the lifetime of the processor and it could damage it. In addition to that there is no warranty support for that practice.
Since you have an unlocked processor, the BIOS will need to have the options to make the changes you are looking for. Therefore I suggest you to contact Gigabyte for additional information.

Hey, Thanks for your reply, are you certain that that would be an option?
seeing how its an h77 motherboard,could i change the multiplier above the max trubo boost one? or only to the max one( which i assume is 39 with that cpu)
