Here is my question. On the ARC intel site i7 and i9 for X299 platform support max 128 GB. But on the official gigabyte site You can read information about 512GB. How I must understand that? Will be work correct i9 or i7 (7820X) with 512GB RAM? Man on the russian site I know him and he told that on his ASUS WS X299 SAGE Mobo all 256GB work correct and line on еру plate physically can support more than 128GB RAM. Why intel mark about only 128GB? If on 7820X 256GB works? How does it possible or what information is hide? I know than XEONs CPU can support more than 512GB RAM. Does it just marketing to part to sectors servers and users? I know that there is no any versions of CPU. intel make one TOP CPU, and lock down cores and select not very vell crystall to make other series like i7 i5 i3 (under the plate the same crystall). So my thoughts light in my mind that is no real difference in i9 and XEON W CPU that is the same crystall and both can work with more 512GB (but to have two sectors for increase money to pocket). And back to my question Why intel wrote about 128 Gb max, but in real life this CPU can use more RAM? (I hope I could clearly express my thoughts and question)
