Did you have problems with this software before upgrading to Windows 10 or only after you upgrade to Windows 10?

In this case, the motherboard and processor that you are using does not support this software.
You will need at least a 2nd generation processor and later generations, on both mobile and desktop platforms.
You can see the Intel® motherboards supported by the Intel® Extreme Tuning Utility here:

You can see on the screenshot I uploaded; those motherboards are the ones supported by the Intel® Extreme Tuning Utility.
It will be on the bottom of the page.
The Intel® XTU works based on the BIOS you have, and the BIOS version for this motherboard is old and there is not an Intel® XTU version available for it.

According to http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/sb/CS-031689.htm?wapkw=performance+tuning+guide Desktop Boards — Performance Tuning Guides, the following boards have a Performance Tuning Guide: DZ87KLT-75K, DZ77GA-70K & DZ77RE-75K, DP67BG, DH67BL, DX58SO2 & DX58OG, and DP55KG & DP55SB. This leads one to assume that these boards will run XTU, which pre-6.0.2.8 ran fairly well on DH67BL / DH67CL, but of course only graphics OC was allowed by the chipset. XTU 6.0.2.8 no longer displays temperature or throttling status, nor does it allow for a benchmark to be run, which it did before on DH67BL / DH67CL. If only the aforementioned five boards were ever supported, the same message the OP saw should have been displayed on DH67BL / DH67CL using either 6.0.2.8 or previous versions of XTU.
