Hello. I have recently uninstalled xtu and I tried to reinstall it. However , when i tried to install it again, it came up with this error message: There is a priblem with the windows installer package. A script required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor.

0x80070643 - Fatal error during installation.

I tried other versions but I had no luck. My specs are: Intel (R) Core (TM) i5-4300U CPU @ 1.90GHz running at a base speed of 2.50GHz. I installed the xtu mainly to underclock my gpu because it was thermal throttling at 90 degrees celsius (the gpu was going from 1000 mhz to 200mhz which lagged my games alot. I also checked other posts but nothing worked. I need help please. Here are the logs from the installer:

I reinstalled windows and it works again now. I forgot to tell you I am using an intel hd 4400. I use this program to underclock my components due to thermal throttling.  It says overclocking not supported but i can still underclock using the processor ratio limit. My gpu was running at 1000mhz causing my laptop (dell latitude e7440) to overheat, due to an unefficient cooling system. I have an image of it working. I found the other installers for other programs weren't working either so I did an upgrade repair and it fixed the problem.

You do understand that XTU does not support your processor, correct?   XTU only supports X and K processors.

I am installing an older version that works with my pc. I had it last month but then the utility stopped opening since yesterday. I need help from someone because the one I am trying to reinstall is the one I had before and I remember underclocking my gpu to 600mhz. The version I'm using is: 6.5.2.40

Again, your U processor is not supported by XTU.  And, you will not be receiving any support because your processor is discontinue and not supported..
