Hello.

With the release of Xeon 3rd generation, I think it will be difficult to order 2nd generation someday.

I'd like to know when Xeon 2nd generation 4214R model can be ordered.

To sum up, I'm curious about the Xeon 4214R Model EOS (End of Sale) date.

Thank you.

Hello, awesome.

Thank you for posting on the Intel Community Support forums.

I received your thread regarding a possible end of sale date for an Intel Xeon processor, and I will be helping you with this.

You can find the product specifications page in the public knowledge base (Intel ARK), and here you can check the launch date and current status of a product:

If the status of a product is "Launched" (like in your case), this means there is no information right now on when it will be discontinued or stop being shipped/sold, and you can also check the product change notices (PCN) in the same page, just go to the "Ordering and compliance" section and review the PCN information.

Generally, discontinuance notices are given 12 months in advance to allow distributors and users to prepare.

To give you an example on how it looks like when a processor is discontinued, see processor Xeon® Processor E7-4820 v2:

- You can check the PNC of the product for other details.

If you have other questions, please let me know, but if that is not the case I will close this community thread on April 12th.

Hello, awesome.

Good day,

This post is t inform you about the closure of this support thread.

I previously shared that discontinuance notices are publicly available on the product specifications page and also shared the methods to confirm this, and there was no response about further assistance being required.

I hope this fully addressed your inquiry, the thread will be closed right now, and it will no longer be monitored by Intel support, but if you require any type of assistance from Intel in the future, just open a new thread, or contact us using any of the available support methods, and you may also receive a survey to help us improve:
