Well Sergio I installed the X3380 on my DX48BT2 all went fine working like a champ , I'm going to run it for a day or two , Before I start seeing just what I can OC it to., But this CPU will work on a DX48BT2. And works well so Intel needs to change their spec sheet. because according to your chat support , they say that you can't use a X3380 with a DX48BT2, I was told NO Match???

Hello;
Indeed the X3380 has not been tested on your DX48BT2 desktop board, that is why the chat agent explained you that is not compatible, you can confirm this information here:
http://processormatch.intel.com/CompDB/SearchResult.aspx?Boardname=dx48bt2
Remember that using a non compatible processor on a desktop board may short the life of both the desktop board and the processor
