Z590 and Core i9-10900T

Hi,

I have a board with a Z590 chipset (MSI MEG Z590i) and a Core i9-10900T. According to the Intel chipset product information page here , under 'compatible products' it does not list any Intel Core-i9 10th gen processors. It does seem to work (apart from Wayland display server not working on it). Should I expect any other issues to crop up?

Kind regards,

MSI has your i9-10900T at the top of the support list for your board:

Just make sure you have the proper bios.

Thanks Doc. I think that is the same version of the BIOS I have (at least according to dmidecode), and it recognises the CPU. But I see there's also a later update. Will think about whether it is worth it.

Cheers!
