Hello,
have a question on mobile alderlake cpu and C states.
I have 2 computers with alderlake mobile cpu's. E-cores go down to C6 state but P-cores almost never go bellow C1. Is this by design that P-cores 99% never go bellow C1 or is this configurable somehow?
scaling governor is set to powersave.
Running linux kernel 6.2 and cheking C-states with i7z tool
I have a Raptorlake desktop cpu, however with this cpu P-cores go down more often to C6.

Hello etnivor,
Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities. I understand that you have an inquiry related to the P-cores in your Intel® Core™ i5-12500H Processor.
Before I continue further, I would like to confirm the following:
1. What is the brand and model name of your motherboard?
2. Are you having any performance issues? If so, can you provide more details?
3. Are you working on a project? If so, can you add more details?
Regards,
