Does undervolting harm the CPU? I am using Dell XPS laptop with i5-8265u processor. I managed to unvervolt CPU core voltage by -110mv without any stability issue.
I wonder if there will be any side effects in the long run and is it true that CPU producers use a stock voltage which is generally above what the CPU needs.
Thank you.

Hello Oİnal,
Thank you for posting on the Intel Communities.
Altering clock frequency or voltage may damage or reduce the useful life of the processor and other system components and may reduce system stability and performance. Product warranties may not apply if the processor is operated beyond its specifications.
For instance, system behavior/performance after the changes performed to the system are not guaranteed.
We would recommend you to get in contact with the OEM (Original Equipment Equipment) in order to have further recommendations regarding the CPU voltage and temperatures.
Best Regards,
