i7 2630qm support much memory? Can support 1600 memory?

Official documentation can only support 8G memory, but some said he has been on a 16G memory. As well as people say he can use 1600 memory

Hello,

The i7-2630qm is a powerful mobile unit and according with the memory specifications supports up to 8GB of RAM with a maximum speed of 1333MHz. Bear in mind the memory controller is embedded on the processor and if you run the system beyond the memory specifications it may affect the performance, reduce the life span of your processor or definitely damage the physical integrity of the CPU. I'm not saying it will not work with a faster memory or more GBs of RAM, but definitely will affect the processor.
