Hello Mavignier, when you mention that your processor is buzzing, do you think this sound could come from the fan you have installed?
Have you checked if there is a new BIOS version available for your board?
Can you run the Intel Processor Diagnostic Tool to determine if the processor has any issue? please let me know the results.

Dear Sylvia,
Thank you for your quick response.
I am sure it is not the fan.
I also noted the sound comes from the system speaker as when I take it off there is no noise.
I run the test you have suggested and it passed OK (attached) but during the test, as soon as it started the CPU Load Test, the buzzing started and stayed ON until it ended.
I have also monitored the CPU USAGE with task manager while using AVS4YOU AUDIO CONVERTER and the frequency has gone up to 111%. Is this normal?
My motherboard is a GIGABYTE Z97X-UD3H-BK WITH 2 X 8GB CORSAIR VENGEANCE LP MEMORY STICKS BUT THE PROBLEM ALSO HAPPENS WITH 4 X 4GB CORSAIR STICKS.
Again I thank you for your kind attention
