the temperature in games reaches 85 degrees. is this the norm?

That temp is high, but within limits.
You should make sure you have an adequate cooling system and ventilation. If you installed the processor yourself, you should make certain the paste is applied correctly.

This temperature is at the top of the normal control range; high but not concerningly high. As Al indicated, you have control over the installation of the thermal control system for the processor and the effectiveness of its ability to dissipate heat from the processor (i.e. the TIM used between processor heat spreader and solution's thermal mass). The actual control of the cooling fan(s)/blower(s)/pumps available in the system is a platform-level function and is normally configured from the motherboard's BIOS. BIOS Setup should offer you scenes for managing the thermal control curves, etc.
