Hello,

I have this i7-920 fitted to my motherboard (socket 1366 of course). My question is whether this chip is happy handling triple channel RAM. I see from the spec sheet that it will only handle 12gb of RAM but I was thinking of installing 3 DIMMs of 4gb triple channel RAM (I have six memory slots on the board). Will this chip do triple channel or is that not relevant if the board will do it?
