i9-14900K Temperatures 100º

Hi,
I recently bought a computer with an i9-14900K, GIGABYTE Z790 AORUS MASTER, RTX4070ti, and THERMALRIGHT AQUA ELITE 360 V3 ARGB AIO. The temperatures of the processor while working in Windows oscillate between 53º and 58º, and during rendering, they range between 95º and 100º. Are these temperatures normal?

Thanks in advance for your response.

Hello, @Mahibur

Thank you for posting on the Intel® communities. I understand your concerns about the temperatures.

However, temperature spikes are not necessarily a cause for concern. When the system is idle, the temperature of the processor is not as high as when the system is running a workload. Having temperature spikes, or having high or maximum temperatures while running a workload; such as games and other activities, isn't necessarily cause for concern. Intel processors constantly monitor their temperature and can rapidly adjust their frequency and power consumption to prevent overheating and damage.

Also, the processor's maximum temperature is 100º as per its specifications. Please run the following utilities and attach their reports so we can verify your processor's health and temperatures:

Intel® Processor Diagnostic Tool

Note: Please attach the complete Screenshot or click on "File", select the "View Results File" option, save, and attach the report.

Intel® Extreme Tuning Utility (Intel® XTU)

Note: Click on the "Stress Test" tab and "Start Testing" and then, attach a complete screenshot.

Intel® System Support Utility for Windows.

Note: Make sure to mark the box that says "everything" before pressing the Scan button. After that, click on "Next>" and select "Save" and then, attach the .txt file.

Hello, @Mahibur

Thank you for the reports provided.

As per your reports, all tests passed and your processor's health is okay, so you shouldn't have problems. I also noticed that your Motherboard has a newer BIOS version (F12b), so you may try updating it to the latest version to make sure your system is up to date.

As mentioned above, when the system is idle, the temperature of the processor is not as high as when the system is running a workload. Having temperature spikes, or having high or maximum temperatures while running a workload; such as games and other activities, isn't necessarily cause for concern and is kind of an expected behavior.

Intel processors constantly monitor their temperature and can rapidly adjust their frequency and power consumption to prevent overheating and damage. This processor's maximum temperature is 100º and it is within its specifications

Please let me know if there's anything else I could help you with.
