Hello AGXIN.XAVIER,
I found few information on http://www.innodisk.com/Product/ProductDetail.aspx?SUQwMT0xZGJmZDYzZC0zOGY5LTQ0NTUtOWFjYi0wMjM4OTg2M2I2NTgmSUQwMj0xMjUxOWJmYS02MWNiLTRkYzQtYWYzNS1iZmE1NzM1MmY5ZDEmSUQwMz0mSUQ9NjFjNDI0YWMtMDY0Yy00N2M5LWFhMDktMTI2YWE3MGQ1OWM1JmRmbF9JRD0wMDE%3d EMPS-3401 , and after checking its http://www.innodisk.com//Download_file.aspx?D2742C9BBB02001CDEDCE7F677DFA850BF18733E40C6D92ADFBF4FD30B3DB772D6E2A06B691D90B5F8AA82BD5DCA54981621633AD37F1E84 datasheet , I know its bridge chip is http://www.marvell.com/storage/system-solutions/sata-controllers/index.jsp Marvell 88SE9215, which is a PCIE 2.0 x1 to 4 ports 6Gps SATA bridge. Whether the devices attached onto EMPS-3401 is able to boot up your system depends on whether this card provides the appropriate firmware for your mobo. I suggest you to contact with the vendor(s) of EMPS-3401 for detail information. Waiting for your positive feedbacks...Thank you.
Best Regards,
