"Unknown error" why trying to install Intel Chipset drivers (SetupChipset.exe)

Could anyone help me diagnose or workaround this problem? I am trying to install my chipset drivers on Windows 10 x64, but the install fails without information or help of any kind. It is very frustrating for me, because it means (among other things) that my VGA drivers are incorrect.

Acer does not provide any support or up-to-date drivers. All info about my system is https://www.acer.com/datasheets/2011/4876/5742/LX.R4L02.015.html here. I have attached all the relevant logs.

Thank you for the detailed information.

I just wanted to let you know that the reason why this driver is not being updated is because your graphics controller does not support Windows® 10, it won't be possible to install this driver on your computer. I recommend sticking with the supported operating systems for the driver availability. The operating systems for Intel® HD Graphics 2000 are;

• Windows 7*
• Windows 8*
• Windows 8.1*
