Hello Intel Support,
I currently built my desktop and used the intel i7-3770K running on 16GB corsair ram and ASUS P8z77-V motherboard, After running the computer on really really basic 3D rendering using softwares like Unity and 3Dsmax on the HD4000 gpu from the processor, after a while the screen freezes this has happened like 3 times i managed to grab a photo of this event happening. I just wanted to find out what exactly what went wrong and if it could be that the processor is defective in any way. I have not hdyet preformed any over-clocking to the pc.

Hello,
First, I would suggest checking the memory compatibility; it should be 1600MHz 1.5v. You may swap memory sticks or run a diagnostic test making sure that BIOS settings are default.
In order to test the processor you may install and run the Intel® Processor Diagnostic Tool. If the issue persists the recommendation will be swapping components so you can find the culprit.
What is the Intel® Processor Diagnostic Tool?
