Hi Team,

We are designing a board with  Arria 10 Part Number -10AX057N2F40E2SG   with DDR 4 Interface

Can you help us to clarify the following queries to ease our design process?

Question1 --> Can above Arria 10 part number support a 64-bit dual-channel data bus with Hard IP?

Question2 -->  If Dual-channel DDR4 64 bit Hard IP is not supported how to implement it? As the datasheet says it supports  X144 bit

Question 3 --> In EMIF DatasheetSection 3.7 Page 47-48  Note: Notes to table:
1. Only Intel Arria 10 devices with a special ordering code support 64-bit and 72-bit data widths; all other devices support
only to 32-bit data widths   --> Can you clarify if the part number[10AX057N2F40E2SG] supports 64 bit?.

Hi

There is useful page on Intel web site to check EMIF spec meets your device.

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/programmable/support/support-resources/support-centers/external-memory-interfaces-support.html

1.  When I check the EMIF Device selector 10AX057N2F40E2SG support two DDR4 64bit interfaces.

2.  Your device support two DDR4 64 bit interfaces.

3.  Your device support 64bit DDR4 interfaces.
