Auto configuration of the CycloneIII device on poweup

Hi friends,

I am fresher & new to FPGA platform. In our project,to make a prototype we are using cyclone III FPGA starter development kit.As time is very short,I am learning as & when needed for the work.

I have already configured DDRSDRAM, SSRAM,flash along with the FPGA configured with our design.

Our plan is to store the FPGA configuration file & also application code on flash.

From cyclone III starter user guide, from the section "appendix a:configuration flash device",I came to know that,by default FPGA can get configured from the 32bit address 0x020000 on power up/upon the press of reconfigure button.

Even i noticed about Remote update controller(local configuration).Do this remote update controller, anywhere related to the above one in which there is a default automatic configuration of FPGA from the address 0x20000?

Then in SOPC builder,I have mentioned the start address 0x00000000.then if fpga bit file is going to sit from the address 0x020000.Then,in exception vector(in which I've mentioned flash) or while flashing the programming from Nios II ,will it not overwrite the fpga bit file?

Even, there is a option in flash programmer to put fpga .sof file into the flash from the desired offset.how can it helps to reconfigure of fpga upon power up,because they have mentioned we have to convert the .pof file, then we should put from the address 0x20000 in the flash.

Please reply ASAP,if you know.

Thanks in advance.
