Hi,
I don’t know how to connect a slave module (created with DSP Builder Advanced Blockset) with NIOS II data master (in Qsys environment) in order to access the slave IO interface and read/write data from/to the slave. Using classical DSP Builder, this was easy via “Avalon MM Interface”. After compiling the mdl-file and including it in Qsys-design, the “NIOS II data master” can be directly connected with this “Avalon MM Interface” which appears as an input of DSP Builder module. For better understanding, attached is a simple mdl-model (based on classical DSP Builder) with Avalon MM Interface (2 bit address bus and 32 bit data bus). Kind Regards NedingLink Copied

Problem solved!
The „Avalon MM Slave“ interface from classical DSP Builder can still be used. For this, the advanced blockset subsystem has to be embedded within a top-level classical DSP Builder design as described in Chapter 8 of DSP Builder Handbook/DSP Builder Advanced Blockset (8. DSP Builder Standard and Advanced Blockset Interoperability).
