When creating a 2 port RAM instance in the second width/blk_type we have an option regarding memory block types. What is the difference between Auto, M9K which is being used MLAB, M144k and LC?

It allows you to force the use of a very specific type of resource to implement the buffer: MLAB (640 bit blocks), M9K (9 kbit blocks), M144K (144 kbit blocks) or logic cells (1 bit per logic cell).
Unless you come across a specific reason not to, the best option is to leave it in "auto" and let the tools choose.- Mark as New
