Compact Cyclone development board for video processing

Dear all

I am as hobby project developing a video processing application for a little robot. I started off with a DE0-nano (EP4CE22) because of the compact size and nice amount of gates, but now is my project getting too big to fit into the Cyclone IV device.

I am currently looking for something with a bigger Cyclone device. But most boards I find are or too big to fit in my robot (for instance DE2-70) or very expensive. I did not find the right mix yet.

Does someone have advice for a compact (about 100x100mm) cheap (<$300) board available with a bigger (at least double the size of the EP4CE22) Cyclone device ?

Kind regards,

Han

Thanks for the reaction.

I did indeed see this manufacturer and the DBM3C55 (340.00 €) or DBM3C80 (475.00 €), does fit my needs in terms of form factor and logic count. But I was hoping for something cheaper. Or is this a good deal because of included extras like IP cores and NIOS licenses?

By the way HuMANDATA www-hdl-co-jp is also a possible supplier in terms of form factor and device size/selection, but is even more expensive.

Or is the only right conclusion that the Terasic DE0-nano is an unbelievable good deal for a low cost, high logic count board.....
