Connect DE2-115 with server

Hi all,  

Is it possible to connect de2-115 with a server, virtual or real one, for experimental use only. DE2-115 will work like a firewall, so need to prove and make sure this firewall works well on this.  

If there's any tutorial or article please post the title, author, I would be so thankful and to your kindly help.
