I have customers to use Tofino and FPGA to develop Router and Switch. FPGA has 2 kinds of Chiplets, FPGA Fabric and Serdes tile. Tofino also has 2 kinds of Chiplet, Switch fabric and Serdes tiles.
Can we packge pure FPGA tile and Switch fabric tile together with EMIB technology?
In this way, we can reduce serdes tile to save cost and power.
Also can impeding Xilinx FPGA in these applications.
Welcome discussion!
