Cyclone IV Device Selection Problem

Hi. I will try to usung Altera Cyclone IV E Device(EP4CE40F19A7N, 324pin) in my design. But Information about the device is not anywhere in site(pinmaps, package details..) 

Where I found that let me know. 

Also I using the quartus 11.1(MAX & Legacy families device support installed), but this EP4CE40, 324pin device is not visible. 

Please, someone help me solve this problem.

You should contact an Altera FAE to see what they say. 

 

Personally I check for the most popular parts on Digikey as part of the selection process. 

 

For example, searching for the FPGA-324 pin package shows the EP4CGX30CF19C7N GX part is available, however, no E-series part. Although the handbook shows an E-series device in this package, I suspect it is just not popular, so probably not easily available ... if you are not planning on placing a large order, I would recommend selecting a more popular part (where popularity is determined by the availability/price on Digikey). 

 

You do not have to order from Digikey, Arrow also stocks these parts, however, the Digikey site has a decent enough search engine and provides stock counts.
