Cyclone V DPS speed / numbers of clocks

Where can I find the speed / Fmax / numbers of clocks for the DSP in the Cyclone V?

Gues the speed / numbers of clocks from input to output depending on the actual calculation?

I'm actually trying to just make some fast adding in the preadders so i just multiply with 1 and it seems to work fine.

Please advice

For older generation parts, the multiplier FMAX was given per device, however I have never seen this number for the Cyclone V family.

These numbers were always suspect, because they were ideal numbers for the DSP/Mutiplier block only, but could be greatly effected based on routing to the block.

Now I would recommend you build block as you would use it, then report the timing through the muliplier/DSP block.

You are right, if I do look on older part the Fmax are given.

I will make a test and do some messurement to see how fast I can go.

Thank you
