DACs and ADCs on DE2 board

Hello people,

I want to use Digital to Analogue Converter and Analogue to Digital Converter for my design.

Is there any DACs and ADCs on DE2 board?

Regarding DAC, if exists, does it have serial or parallel input(s) for digital data, and does it threat this digital data input like 2'complement number or not?

Please advice me, I'm novice.

Thank you very much for the effort.

Regards,

Bojan

Hi,

I am not a student(at all) but I was curious to read about DE2. We didn't have this luxury in our days. There is plenty of components and documentation as well as manufacturer's data sheet for various components.

I can see there is a 10 bit DAC at video out (see data sheet of ADV7123 to know if it uses 2's complement or offset binary...). There is also a 24bit codec. This is an audio range device and contain an audio range ADC and DAC(see data sheet for WM8731).
