Hello,

I am finding it hard to find EP4CE30F29I8LN but I am able to EP4CE40F29I8LN. I understand they are pin compatible. Can I just swap it and program it or do I need to recompile? Anything else I need to be aware of?

Hi,

Thank you for contacting Intel community.

Since it is a different FPGA but from same device family, you will need recompile and then program the device. Please ensure the pin assign is compatible to the new FPGA.

Regards,

Aiman
