EPM570ZF256 Support

Hi,

We can't find the device support in the Quartus software to target the Max IIZ 570ZF256

The only support in the software is for the 570ZM256

We have attempted to go all the way back to Quartus 13, and still the only support for the MAX IIZ is the 570ZM, and nothing available for the 570ZF

We have been using Altera/Intel parts for 10+ years with great success.

Low inventory caused us to purchase these parts from a reputable broker.

The parts are functional.  JTAG can detect and returns a valid IDCODE.

We can’t program as we cant target our designs for the EPM570ZF256.  The fitter only allows selection for EPM570ZM256.

JTAG programming fails obviously on the part IDCODE mismatch.

Any help or insight would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi,

Please a file with name quartus.ini to the folder with Quartus project and add following line to it:

dev_password0 = d0070c637d8802a600c03743d28ae6a7325458a8f2a52ba5fbe839e9771d91223361322432333723377223522575332165354455551555175545555644

This will enable the EPM570ZF256C7 device. Attached screenshot also.
