try not working in a path with spaces in it?

if that doesn't help, remove the db directory and start a new compile from scratch (including Analysis and Synthesis)

thank you very much!!!

the note "try not working in a path with spaces in it" solved!

I used a very commmon path name includes: "My Documents" with a "space" inside, this was the problem!

Hello. I got this message today and nothing of the above helps..

I've tried to recompile a few well-finished projects and it reported the same error.

Also when deleting the DB and WORK folders.

No spaces in the path..

I've tried also to restart the PC. Nothing helps..

What else can I do?

I'm using Quartus 10.1 SP1.

Win7 64bit.

The design is for MAX II.

Thank you very much in advance!.

Lior.

Thanks. The answer was that the path was to long.

After moving the folder to a local drive, everything seems to be good.

Thank you!
