Errors over EP4SGX530 high speed transceiver

Hello,

We have a board which passed its end of development tests and now starts shipping to customers.

The board is based on EP4SGX530 device which contain few 10Gbps RXAUI ports.

An RXAUI port is contained from 2 Transceivers, each running 6.25Gbps.

In last production batch (in which few tens of boards were produced) many of the boards had data errors in the RXAUI ports.

After further investigation, it seems that the errors are in the transmit path from the EP4SGX530 transceiver to the opposite RXAUI PHY. We are still checking all possibilities and currently I don’t have a firm indication that the problem reside in the EP4SGX530 device itself.

Did anyone experienced similar problems in EP4SGX device transceivers ?
