Execution without a Host computer

Hi all,

I have created a project in Quatus2 and generated the '.sof' file loaded it to the DE2-115 board and the execution is perfect.

Here, I would like to know if it is possible to load these files to any of the memory components on the board and execute the logic without a host computer directly from the on board memory.

P.S: I know on how to store the file on the inbuilt memory in the board, but would be glad if you could help me with execution without a host computer.

Thanks,

Nadeem

If you program the board once with a jic or a pof, then you don't need the host anymore after a power cycle.
